Job Description Assistent Restaurant Manager
Areas of responsibility
  • Manages Food Services operation of Disney Cruise Line’s classical fine dining
  • Supervises, develops, trains, & directs staff to guarantee Guest satisfaction in regards to food quality
  • Manages financial success of the restaurant by achieving budgeted revenue, controlling expenses & maximizing profitability
  • Liaises with the Chef de Cuisine on matters relating to food quality standards, guest requirements, Guest comments, special dietary needs
  • Assists in the development and implementation of new menus
Profile
  • Minimum 4 years management experience in a fine dining, “classic French style” restaurant
  • Proficiency in “showmanship” table side service such as meat carving, filleting of fish, flambé
  • Ship experience, preferred
  • In depth wine knowledge & proficiency in Food & Wine pairing; Sommelier certificate preferred; Formal Hospitality training
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with Guests of all ages
  • Proficient with POS systems (Micros preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
