Lead Merchandise team as well as training and orienting new hires (i.e. Guest service and recovery, product information, security procedures, etc.)
Assume responsibility for the shop’s smooth and effective operation; determine extended hours to meet Guest needs, proper staffing levels; supervise team and perform sales duties when shops are busy
Inspect shops on a regular basis to ensure that merchandise is properly labeled, well-displayed, point-of-sale promotions are in place, and the shops are clean and orderly
Ensure accuracy of inventory management
Profile
Minimum five years retail experience
Minimum three years management experience
Ship and/or duty free experience preferred
Specialized experience with Disney products preferred
Visual merchandising experience a plus
Accounting skills preferred
Accounting background necessary
Ability to demonstrate a passion and strong, ongoing focus towards exceeding Guest satisfaction and sales goals in order to exceed incentive targets which impacts the individual, team and overall department success
