Fulfill daily tasks according to operational checklists that support delivery of an excellent guest experience for all guests with special focus on individually designated concierge guests
Perform inspection of concierge suites with regards to cleanliness and proper set up
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of any VIP arrivals
Train Guest Service Host/ess and fellow managers in tasks that support the delivery of excellent service to all guests and concierge specific services
Support general Guest Services operation as needed; this includes phone or desk coverage and other general tasks
Concierge/GSM cards are distributed to guests and the Concierge Manager is accountable for all Guest comments
Maintain a cash float of $500 and be responsible for accurate monetary transactions and daily balancing of cash
Actively participate in the Guest Satisfaction Measurement and continuous improvement processes
Maintain Operating Guidelines, together with Manager Guest Services, as new guest enhancements are created and/or changes in operation are implemented
Profile
1 year of Concierge experience required
Resort or Cruise line Concierge experience desired
Must be creative and enjoy creating a fun and safe atmosphere for children
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
Tourism and Hospitality classes/certifications a plus
Proven ability to deliver excellent service
Self motivated, able to work autonomously
Ability to build relationships amongst other departments
