Job Description	Bar Server
Areas of responsibility	Provide exceptional bar service in all guest areas including Castaway Cay according to company set standards Take guest drink orders and deliver drinks in a timely and efficient manner May be required to work in any bar location on the ship at any time Request proof of identity to verify age of guest before serving alcoholic drinks to guests that appear to be under age May assist in collecting and delivering bar provisions Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the bar area (clear tables, wash glasses) Assist in any cleaning duties around the bar and pantry at any time Have the ability and confidence to discontinue serving alcohol to specific guests Maintain friendly and professional attitude towards guests and coworkers Interact with guests whenever time and circumstance permits Know and respect Disney Heritage, traditions and values May assist in preparation of drinks as necessary Understand food safety programs and maintain USPH sanitation and cleanliness standards throughout work area Maintain grooming and appearance to Disney Look standards at all times Practice up-selling and suggestive selling techniques Strive to improve job knowledge on a daily basis through personal development Actively participate in all Company sponsored training and safety and accident prevention programs. This includes weekly emergency drills. Keep accurate record of daily sales
Profile	Candidate must be very open minded to any training and continuous improvement of service techniques required to achieve a higher standard Must have knowledge of international cocktail recipes and international alcohol brands Must have a flexible and cooperative attitude Must be able to lift a 30-pound tray of drinks Should have a positive outlook and outgoing personality Minimum 3 years experience in the bar industry with high volume experience preferred (Ship experience preferred but not necessary) Applicants must be at least 21 years of age Comprehensive English is a must
